IF YOUR THINKING ABOUT GOING TO BETHANY COLLEGE OF MISSIONS CHECK INTO INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF PRAYER (IHOP). BETHANY HOUSE OF PRAYER (BHOP) IS MODELED AFTER IHOP. ON THE OUTSIDE IT APPEARS TO BE GREAT , BUT WHEN YOU DIG DEEPER YOU FIND ITS NOT. IHOP WAS STARTED BY A FALSE PROPHET AND THEIR HARP AND BOWL MODEL IS Possibly TAKEN FROM A VERSE OUT OF CONTEXT. WITH MUCH LOVE CHECK IT OUT. SEVERAL OF STUDENTS HAVE LEFT DUE TO PROBLEMS THAT HAVE RISEN FROM THE FAULTY FOUNDATION THAT BHOP WAS LAID ON. I'm not saying you shouldn't come to BCOM, but I know I would have liked to have been informed on this. And I'm sure a hand full of others would have liked to been informed on this ahead of time as well.

• Power of the Cross is a required class that puts one under the teaching of those that have interned under the leadership of a false prophet. This is the class that incorporates the harp and bowl method.

Gruen, one of the fathers of the charismatic movement in Kansas City, said little on the movement until January of this year when he released a tape titled "Do We Keep Smiling and Say Nothing?"
In the tape, Gruen accused KCF of sending out false prophets, of "prophesying" area churches would close down (and then join KCF), and of outright lying.
Gruen also released a 233-page document to Christian leaders across America listing other alleged abuses at the KCF -- including charges that its leaders were involved in occultism and with teaching variations of the elitist "Manifest Sons of God" heresy of the Latter Rain Movement (1948-1952).

Also this book has a couple sections in regards to Bickle and his Kansas city Prophets.

Do you have any info on Kansas city prophets, especially a fellow named Mike Bickle?
Do they have false prophecy? If so do you have any I can see?
My college went to a onething conference and many students are confused now about what happened there. They were prophesying, convulsing with what they said was the Holy Ghost and saying the Bible said stuff with no backing. Theres a new class that we have to take here teaching us to follow the IHOP method of prayer or chanting. I need to approach the leadership here but need more info on this movement.
